A dynamic trajectory with a new team, new strategy & new supporter

May 2017

ATHENS – A new era begins for ReGeneration, the pioneering paid employment program in Greece, which aims to bridge the gap between talented young graduates and companies seeking to find and onboard skilled talent. With a new team, a new strategy, and redesigned logo, the Global Shapers Athens Hub initiative continues to significantly support Greece’s youth.

Considering market needs, ReGeneration’s new strategy assists companies even more in their quest to find ideal candidates to fill available roles, now creating not only application cycles in broad fields, but also targeted professions. Thus, ReGeneration further supports its goal to serve as an enabler of youth employment in specific market sectors, based on the availability of suitable candidates. At the same time, the program continues to contribute effectively to the development of new skills, offering participants a comprehensive professional and personal development program not only through employment opportunities, but also through an intensive training and volunteer program.

The program’s expansion is a result of ReGeneration’s staffing with a new team whose members aim to further strengthen its activities. The team includes Business Development Director Konstantinos Kintzios, and Senior Project Manager Katerina Kypraiou, both experienced executives from the fields of sales and communication. They are accompanied by Business Development Coordinator Stelios Papadakis, Project Coordinator Natalia Vourloumi, and Head of Executive Office & Strategic Initiatives, Ria Kasiora

Starting this year, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) will be joining ReGeneration as a donor.

Finally, the existing sponsors, Coca-Cola, The Coca-Cola Foundation, and The Hellenic Initiative (THI), who have made a great contribution to the success and development of the program so far, will continue to support it significantly.

About the Global Shapers Community & Global Shapers Athens Hub

The Global Shapers community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the international non-profit organization based in Switzerland and consisting of a network of Hubs, one of which is also in Athens. Global Shapers of Athens was launched in September 2011, in the middle of the most serious economic crisis Europe has faced in a century. Aiming to act as a liaison between the Word Economic Forum (WEF), the business and scientific community, non-profit organizations, and young people under the age of 30 with special skills, the Global Shapers Athens Hub enables these organizations to join forces to achieve common social goals related to youth employment, entrepreneurship, and smart, sustainable and inclusive economic growth and volunteering in Greece.
