Autumn starts dynamically for ReGeneration, as the initiative opens its doors for the 9th time, inviting young graduates with or without disabilities to register for the opportunity to make a strong career start.

The program for the first time invites young graduates with disabilities to access equal opportunities for professional and personal development, offering an inclusive “ticket” for a journey into the exciting world of ReGeneration! Applications will be accepted from September 2nd to the 15th.

The program is open to individuals up to 29 years old with a degree in any field, with 0-3 years of previous work experience and participation in extracurricular activities.

ReGeneration is now accessible, with the support of Coca-Cola and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, while to achieve this important undertaking, the program is collaborating with Vangelis Avgoulas and his team at www.meallamatia.gr utilizing their experience and knowledge of accessibility. Our valued partner ethelon joins us in this effort, supporting the coordination of the organizations.

In its five years of operation, ReGeneration has managed to place 1,100 talented young people in the workforce at more than 400 partnering companies nationwide. The percentage of renewed collaborations between ReGeneration program participants and collaborating companies beyond the 6-month minimum required by the program is 90%. Meanwhile, some 120,000 hours of training in soft and hard skills, and 16,000 volunteer hours have been completed by participants to date.

Candidates who wish to apply to the 9th ReGeneration Cycle, can find information and rules of participation at www.regeneration.gr.

About ReGeneration

With a vision to democratize post-university education and career opportunities for young graduates in our country, ReGeneration is the largest employment and training program in Greece. An initiative of the Global Shapers Athens Hub and World Economic Forum, ReGeneration was created with the goal of contributing to youth employment, bridging the skills gap, and combating “brain drain.” The program addresses talented young graduates (up to 29 years old) in a range of specialties with 0 – 3 years of work experience, who strive to stand out as young professionals in Greece. ReGeneration offers participants 6 months (minimum) paid employment at multinational companies and SMEs in Greece, and 32 hours of training with a focus on personal and professional development, as well as mentoring opportunities with renowned market executives. As part of the program, participants also complete 25 volunteer hours supporting select NGOs. ReGeneration is a non-profit program supported by: Coca-Cola, The Coca-Cola Foundation, The Hellenic Initiative and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Select partners offering necessary services, know-how and resources to the program include: Arctic Shores, ethelon, Job-Pairs, kariera.gr, Mindshare, OTE Academy and RSM Greece.
