Applications for the ReGeneration Academy on Female IT Career Pathways are now being accepted, in collaboration with INCO Academy – Work In Tech, and with the support of Google.org
ATHENS, GREECE – Staying true to its goal of closing the gender gap in terms of equal opportunities in the labor market, ReGeneration presents yet another Academy exclusively for recent female graduates, with the aim to empower and integrate them into jobs in the field of IT and beyond.
The ReGeneration Academy on Female IT Career Pathways, in collaboration with INCO Academy – Work in Tech, and with the support of Google.org, is designed for young female graduates up to 29 years old, with a degree in any academic background and 0 – 3 years of work experience, who wish to develop IT skills, explore new industries, and claim a professional role in their field of interest.
Through a combination of modern and asynchronous education, the program offers:
● 163 hours of training with self-paced and instructor-led courses
Program participants will be able to pursue Google IT Support Professional Certificate certification through the Coursera platform. They will also join groups in which they will attend recap lessons with the aim of interacting with each other, getting answers to any questions, and gaining a deeper knowledge of the subject matter. The recap lessons take place in a digital classroom and under the guidance of renowned Code.Hub speakers.
● 32 hours of training in soft and digital skills for integration into the labor market (CV & LinkedIn Building, Communication skills, Presentation skills, Design Thinking, Growth Mindset)
The program offers employment opportunities in one of the 1,300 companies in ReGeneration’s network. Upon training completion, participant CVs will be available on the ReGeneration platform for a period of one year, giving a chance to participants to put into practice what they have learned, and to fill jobs in the IT sector and other areas in which they wish to be employed.
The ReGeneration Academy on Female IT Career Pathways provides participants basic technical skills, as well as practical support for personal and professional development, while at the same time, extends the opportunity to develop and claim employment opportunities in Greece.

About ReGeneration
With a vision to democratize post-university education and career opportunities for young graduates in our country, ReGeneration is the largest employment and training program in Greece. An initiative of the Global Shapers Athens Hub and World Economic Forum, ReGeneration was created with the goal of contributing to youth employment, bridging the skills gap, and combating “brain drain.” The program addresses talented young graduates (up to 29 years old) in a range of specialties with 0 – 3 years of work experience, who strive to stand out as young professionals in Greece. Digital Marketing, Data Science, AI, Coding, Supply Chain, Hospitality, AgriFood, Customer Experience). As part of the program, participants also complete 25 volunteer hours supporting select NGOs. To date, ReGeneration has placed over 1,850 young graduates in roles at some 700 participating companies, and has, through its various programs, offered 440,000 hours of training in soft and digital skills. About INCO Academy – Work in Tech
The INCO Academy – Work in Tech program is part of the INCO group’s mission to promote equality in the labor market. In collaboration with Google.org and Coursera, it aims to empower trainees facing employment barriers by providing them with a fully-funded vocational certification and starting point for a career in IT.
The goal is to create employment opportunities for greater socio-economic stability, educating more than 9,500 people with unequal access to job opportunities across 17 European countries.
